CASSAVA BUTSI
1 pack giron's powfered cassava 120 g
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar or as disired
1/2 cup water
sesame seeds
Mix everything until well blended. Divide into 8-10 pieces. Form each piece into a ball. Flatten ball. put ube filling in the center. Gather side of flatten ball, seal. Roll in untoasted sesame seeds. Fry until golden brown.
UBE FILLING FOR BUTSI
1/4 cup powdered ube
1/4 cup condensed milk
1/2 cup water
1tbsp. butter or margarine
Mix everything except butter. Cook over low fire until dry. Add butter, continue cooking until fully blended. Form into a ball. place inside the butsi.
